DOES HIVE THERMOSTAT WORK ON GREENSTAR HEATSLAVE 18/25

Hi all,

I am looking to get a Hive thermostat installed but wasn't sure if it was compatible with our oil boiler as I recently found out the Google nest wasn't.

Any help and advice would be massively appreciated!

No reason why Nest shouldn't be compatible with that, and Hive will be too

Hive, Nest and others are just an on/off switch, or two switches for those that do HW and CH.
Compatible with almost all boilers.

It was to do with the wiring of the Thermostat rather than the boiler it self I believe.

The thermostat needs disconning anyway, the nest or hive become the thermostat and programmer in one

Hive is really designed for gas boilers, even though it can be a installed on oil boilers the TPI functionality isn’t configurable for oil boilers. Best to check with Hive.
