I want to fit a door closer with a nice damped action to my front door.
I have some of these spare:
https://www.screwfix.com/p/smith-locke-series-3-overhead-door-closer-silver/399hr
But unfortunately they're far too "fat" - with the closer in place, I can only open the door about 60 degrees before it pokes into the wall (the door is set in a corner, quite an awkward spot).
Is there an alternative item I could use here which has a slimmer profile? (or some other way entirely?)
Thanks.
