Door Entry System

HI,

I didn't know where to ask this so... I'm looking to make a door Security system that means if a external door is opened i would know remotely from my HTC. The door contacts would be on the standard Alarm system types but i'm not sure how to continue after this.

Many IP CCTV cameras have alarm inputs and could be set to email you on alarm sense (as well as giving you video monitoring, motion detection, etc of course)
