Hi all
I’m in the process of a DIY loft conversion and don’t seem to find any information regarding the flashing of a dormer cheek against a party/brick wall.
please see photos attached, there will be hung plain 10x6 tiles on the dormer cheek, and the slates below the capping stones as shown can stay.
Warm roof will be coming out to the edge of my property so there won’t be direct rainfall on it.
Does moulding my own U shaped valley out of lead, nailed onto the bottom battens of the cheek and bedded around 20mm below the slates, work as a solution/valley?
can anyone provide any advice?
thanks
