Hi All,
I'm currently installing a 17 m2 patio in my back garden. I'm currently in a bit of a dilemma regarding the drainage. The grass that the patio leads onto is raised and also has a high clay content, so dispersing water through that doesn't look too good.
I'm thinking there are two options here. 1, i add drainage channel where the patio meets the raised grass and lead a pipe back to the house where the guttering meets the water drainage pipe. 2 - I slope the patio towards the house and put drainage channel between the house and the patio, which would then lead to the same water drain.
Are either of these reasonable ideas?
Thanks,
Chris
