Drayton wiser on a Main Eco Elite Combi

Hi All

iv got a drayton wiser stat which I am going to connect to my main eco elite combi boiler over the coming weekend. i think i know how this is connected but want some advice.

am I correct in saying the below is what I will need to do

use a piece of 5 core cable

N from boiler to N on wall plate

2 (230v Live out) from boiler to COM on wall plate

Loop in COM & L on the wall plate

Switch Live in from boiler to 3 on wall plate.

i also have a salus receiver RT500in place where the mechanical clock usually is, can i leave that as it is?

I would do the following (using your 5 core):

L from boiler to L on Wiser
N from boiler to N on Wiser
2 230v out to Com

No need to link L to Com

Disconnect Salus at both ends or link the switching wires together
