dual bathroom landing light switch, 4 reds and 1 black???

I have a dual switch (one button for the bathroom and one for the landing) the landing light has a button downstairs too. Stupidly I went to replace upstairs switch and didn't mark the wires so now I have a black and red wire coming from downstairs and three red wires coming down from the attic. Can any help me, I don't know where the wires are meant to go. The new switch I bought has L1,L2 and com, and the other side the same. Please help

Are the three wires part of a cable or seperate single wires in conduit?
Are the wires really solid red or are they some other color covered with red sleeving?
Are there any earths in this installation?
