Dust extraction outdoors?

I’ve only recently bought a dust extractor, a titan jobbie from screwfix that also works as a wet vac.
Got some mdf to cut, which I’ll do outdoors, using my plunge saw.
Reckon I should be using the extractor even though it’s outdoors? I’ve cut a lot in my time outdoors with no extractor, is everyone else doing proper extraction outdoors now? Thanks!
 
May as well, I would.
Apart from anything else, the dust will go everywhere.
 
Cheers. You’re probably right, I was thinking a dust bag as an easier and lazier option
 
Flow of air caused by the extractor will pull waste away from the blade and keep the blade cooler. This is a bit less critical than stopping MDF dust getting in to your lungs, but still worth doing.
 
Apart from breathing it in - yes the dust will go everywhere - you will see it on your windowsill next time you clean them. I have the same titan and always regret it when I could not be bothered to get it out just for one cut.
I also notice that the saw cut is much cleaner when the extraction is on. When using it just make sure that the hose can pull over the work as sometimes the hose ridges snagg on the edge of the board as you run along with your saw.
