Electrical Qualifications

Good Morning All,

Not often I risk becoming flame bait but here goes nothing;

My current place of work has decided it would be mutally advantageous if i could carry out electrical installation testing on site.

I have no prior electrical qualifications at all but they will pay for whatever I need to do.

Can anyone advise me what path I would need to take qualifications wise to reach the level of been able to carry out installation testing.

Don't worry about it, it's easy. Now if he'd said he wanted you to take responsibility for plumbing installations that would have been a whole different ball game. Only the chosen few wear that mantle comfortably.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Would be testing all wiring in old public building.

I think i've answered my own question anyhow, looks like i need to do my 17th and then the testing exam as well.

Looks like some serious effort is ahead of me.
