I would like to use the forum emoticons in my personal e mails but have not been succesful in copying.
Does anyone know a dummy proof way of doing this.
Cheers

emoticons aren't part of the standard email, "protocol" so I guess the answer is there isn't a foolproof method. Any extensions that say Outlook may offer, may not be visible on the recipient's machine. Generic email ony supports monochrome text. This is a legacy of its rather ancient origins.

butyou can get them for your email, try a google for them, i personally dont like them that much, i have seen ads for "get 5000 emotion icons for free" what are you going to do with 5000, by the time you have chosen the ones you want you could have driven to the person and spoke to them

Yeah, you can, but you can't guarantee that the recipient can see them.

I've tried Smiley Central for the free 5000 smileys but of course you don't get anything for free. They get your email address and bombard you with ****e not to mention the possible trojan horses and spyware.
Thanks anyway chaps
