EPDM roof without the edge trim?

Do you need the special edge trim? I was just planning to use contact adhesive, its for a flat shed roof.

Fine for shed roof though a bit of timber trim would prevent wind lift should the adhesive no do the job.

Ok thanks would a few clout nails on the side edges be a good idea like you would with felt?
