Eves tiles overlap

Does this look right ?


The tiles don't overlap the eves tray / felt support tray.
There are no tilting fillets, so they nailed a batton on top of the fascia to get the height
The fascias are going to be capped and they say they will raise the gutter too
The eves tile & batten arrangement doesn't look right to me, is that going to cause problems ?

job is to remove chimneys on side of detached house, felt and batton, use same tiles, re-bed ridge/hip tiles. upvc capping
The section where the tiles are removed is where the chimney was. not sure why they removed the tiles temporarily but I managed to get this snap.

looks like the underlay support tray is not fitted correctly. It is hanging right out into the gutter. hard to tell but the tiles maybe set a bit high giving little overhang into the gutter.
I would be concerned about the tile bond too

Thankyou for taking the time to reply. You are right, the tiles do not overhang into the gutter, they sit flush with the fascia. leaving the fst to carry the water. I(s this due to the batten placement ? If you dont mind me asking, What do you mean with the tile bond ?

The bottom baton needs packing up half an inch, the bond is how the the tiles sit over the tile above ie. 50/50 each side is ideal, if you look in your picture were the moss/lichen is the bond look more like 70/30.

If all the tiles and battens were stripped, then the new roof is not set out right.

Water could get drawn sideways in time and rot your fascias and rafter ends.
Measure the tile gauge....
