Exhaust / burning smell when car stopped

A few weeks ago we could smell exhause in the interior of the car (Vauxhall Corsa, petrol, 2008).
The garage diagnosed a split hose and that has now gone away.

Now we smell a distinct burning / exhaust smell when getting out of the car - seems worse on the passenger side and from the boot area.

The car is running well but something is not right - any ideas most welcome.

Could be a seized/sticking brake or, more common, a plastic carrier bag stuck on the exhaust!

As above, carefully feel for a hot wheel rim!

Look underneath and just check that you haven't got a broken exhaust hanging strap and it's resting on something that it's slowly melting through?
