Hi
Can i spur (junction box)from house light circuit to a switch fused spur to exterior 35w light. The fused spur for protection of main circuit.

Thank you

I have no knowledge of your ability, so can't say if you can do the work, you ask "Can I" but with a 6 amp MCB/RCBO feeding a lighting circuit, it is unlikely even a 1 amp fuse will rupture before the main protective device trips. However, having a double pole switch, so both lives (Line and Neutral) are switched, does mean with a fault you can turn it off.

In the days of tungsten, the limit without planning permission for outside lights was 150 watt, so 35 watt is rather large for an outside lamp.
