Hi all,

We had 2 second hand fakro roof windows fitted last year by a roofer. they've both leaked slightly ever since they were fitted but I've not got around to dealing with it until now.

I've been up there with some water, on the right window it seems to be getting in around the top of the flashing then runs down the side seals and drips in at the bottom edge.

The left seems to get in at the joins in the flashing half way up and again seems to get past the seals and drips off the inside of the bottom into the room.

Anyone any ideas on the best way to deal with this?

Thanks
Chris

The top sections don't look like they have been fitted correctly and you can see gaps.

Looking at that picture I'd say its missing a support baton on the back gutter , which is cocking it up at the area you have marked in orange. That means its not sealing correctly.

I'm away for a few days but I'll have a look next week when I'm back and see if I can get some better pictures.
