Favourites menu

When I click on a favourite after bringing up the list from the start menu, nothing happens. When I open Internet Explorer, and access favourites through this, everything works fine.
I have win XP, IE version 6. Can any one help?

Another problem. When using ms word (office 2000) I could click file, send to, and I would have the options 'send to mail recipient' or to 'send as attachment'. The latter option has disappeared, and it is the one I need. Does anyone know how to bring it back?
 
Sorry, I've had a look but I've drawn a blank so far, could you elaborate ?

right click on file

left click on customize

select commands tab

scroll down commands

find send file as attachment

follow on screen instructions to add this command

this works in excel
 
If you right click on the favorite, then click on properties, what is in the URL field in the resulting dialog box?
