Hi we have a 2011 Fiesta mk7 and I've noticed that when the ignition is turned off, the radiator fan vibrates for a few seconds. It only seems to do this if the AC was on though. I've tried to attach a video but its the wrong file type and probably doesn't do it justice but you can see the fan housing moving and hear it rattling as soon as I turn the engine off. Any ideas?

Check to see if anything is loose with the engine switched off first.
With the engine cold (so that there is no chance of the fan coming on automatically) grasp the fan blade and see if you can move it up and down - just to check for bearing wear.
At the same time, check the fan blade for obvious damage which could throw it out of balance.

Hi on further investigation it doesn’t seem to matter whether the AC is on or not, it's intermittent. Can't see or feel any damage to the fan blades but there is some play in it, I can move the fan side to side and up and down to some extent.
