File Conversions (jpg to pdf, pdf to m/s office)

I have a need to convert a pdf file in to m/s Word & Excel, sometimes the file could be as jpg.

I have down loaded some software for evaluation (Able2extract & Leadtools), before I go down the road to discover Rome, I was wondering if anyone out there does similar & could point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

You can select from the pdf file in the Adobe Acrobat viewer, if not locked off, then paste into Word .. Excel may require a little more experimentation.
The Adobe Acrobat reader is free, the text or picture selector not always easy to spot without reading up on usage.

There may be specialised software but guess you may need to fiddle a bit in Word and Excel.
This is a useful customisation to apply to your Word tool bar .. It says, misleadingly ... 'Horizontal' but actually inserts a frame into which you may paste, for example a picture, then drag the whole thing anywhere on the Word page.....

It might help others but its pretty easy these days for all these conversions.
