2 Storey house. 2 Beds on the first floor and 1 on the ground floor.
Do all habitable rooms need to have fire doors, or just the door at the bottom of the stairwell/staircase?
Have mains interlinked smoke alarms on hall of each floor and kitchen.

Why do you ask? If you're just replacing internal doors on a like for like basis, there is no requirement to change to fire doors.

is there a loft conversion? basement? Is it a HMO? Why do you need firedoors?

No loft conversion. Basement but not used for anything or habitable.
Just a rented house (not bedsits) and i want to change the doors to a more modern finish.

Interlinked smoke alarms might be more sensible than fire doors. Far better to get warned before the fire needs halting.
