Fitting inset sink

The sink I'm fitting has a rolled edge and a foam gasket behind. Will this be enough to seal or should I add a bead of silicon?

On other sinks I've fitted they have flat edges so no gasket and when I've dry fitted there is usually gaps especially when the fixings are applied. Why do they only supply six!! Eight would be better.

Dry fit and see how the edge lies with it all pulled down - if it all sits flat then usually no need for anything though I always put a thin bead of silicone all the way around before setting in. Belt 'n' braces stuff.

If the brackets don't pull it down evenly then add water into the sink and weight on other areas until it sits flat and definitely use a little silicone and then leave the weight for a few hours for the silicone to go off. Unless it's wildly uneven, in which case it should really be going back, then that should hold it nice and flat.

It fitted down pretty flat but I did decide to put a wipe of silicone on the corners.
