Hi

I have some construction work starting soon. It's a bungalow with a flat roof bay. The front of the house is busy with guttering, lighting etc and I've identified the best mounting points for a dome CCTV camera as either:

1. On the bottom row of concrete roof tiles
2. On the lead flat roof of the bay

Any suggestions how I could mount to either? If I glued the camera to the lead with lead mate would that have suitable resistance against wind uplift?

Thanks

Can’t think of two worse locations .
Whats wrong with facia under gutter .

No the camera is to cover the drive, gate, where the skip will go etc. insurance company told me I'm at a higher risk of burglary during work due to the big hole in the house. Makes sense!

Is it temporary? If so you could screw it to a plank and leave that on the flat roof. As you say, LeadMate... otherwise a bracket to/around the fascia/soffit?

Yes temporary. A plank sounds like a good idea, I have half a gravel board somewhere...

and stick a couple of concrete blocks on the plank to stop it moving in the breeze...........
