Flammable cladding

I see Notch is back oh no Nosey. Now let's see what caused Grenfell was it the cladding or the fire started in a fridge? Come on you smart people?

Why have you turned your attention to what started the fire, rather than the more dangerous issue ate hand - what spread the fire?

Bizarre and thick as mince.
 
Don't be silly now if the fire had not started - go on you fill in the blanks.
 
There's 170 significant fires a day in the UK. Nearly all of them do not kill anyone because the buildings they are in have been built to be survivable.

Grenfell wasn't built to be survivable, it was built as a match stuffed with human souls.

The fridge may have been the initial cause.

Was the fridge on the outside of the building, or did something else, cause or allow it to spread ?
 
I don't think anyone is suggesting that the fatalities were not caused by the exterior cladding and how it was allowed to be installed. (there is the hint) It's not the construction but how it was allowed is the issue.

Fires start for many issues and acerated due to interior furnishings. This should not lead to compartmental escape as designed for tower blocks but trying to pin the blame solely on cladding ignore some more fundamental issues.

How a fundamental design feature of compartmental containment to each habitable space was allowed to be compromised in the design phase for the building up grade? The whole fire safety principle of tower blocks was by default fires would be limited to each unit rather than spread across the building.

And the spread was the cladding. The fire spread on the outside of the building, not the inside.

The inside was relatively protected

The design assumed, wrongly that the cladding was not flammable and that it would not actively enable fire to spread.

If the cladding hasn't been there it's likely no one would have died.

The individual flats were self contained fire safe compartments, hence why the instruction to stay in place was given.

Nobody had accounted for the spread of the fire by the cladding on the outside of the building.

The cladding was the issue, not the overall building design
