Hi,
Struggling with the Spanish language, and could do with some help, please.
I am putting some ceilings in with new LED downlights to a house in the countryside in Spain.
I have done several rooms, with no problems, I am on the last room and thought I was finished, but when I turn the light switch on, the LEDs just flash, all at different times, about twice or once per second. After about half a minute, the wall lights start flashing aswell, dim at first, then more brightly after about 10 seconds.
There are two light circuits in the room, one is for the LEDs, 12 x GU10 with 6w LED bulbs, and the other is for 3 wall lights, with 2 low energy bulbs in each, 6 in total.
Here's where it may get specific, when I turn on the LED switch, the LEDs flash, but, when I also turn on the wall light switch with the LEDs on and flashing, the wall lights turn on normally, but turn off the LED's (stop them flashing and turn them off). When I turn the wall light switch off, leaving the LED switch still on,the LEDs start flashing again.
The wall lights turn on and off normally, by their switch.
Both switches are 2way and are not connected to eachother at the switch, which is all I can check as the spur junction box is above a plasterboard ceiling.
I tried my best to ask a Spanish electrician, but he just told me to try a different bulb, which I have done, but it makes no difference. I even tried changing the LED bulbs one at a time for a new LED bulb, which seemed pointless and in fact was pointless.
I took the switches off the wall to look, and even tried swapping the wires, just in case they were reversed, but it made no difference.
I hope I have provided a clear picture and not missed out anything obvious.
Please can someone help me?
**I have edited this post to add that the wall lights start to flash with the LEDs after a minute of the LEDs being switched on (flashing). I only just tried it and left it on for longer, so have only just noticed it.**
