Hello all,

I have a flat felt roof Garage, which is in the middle of a large block.

There’s a substantial amount of water ponding on top in a bottom corner. (I cleared this today along with cleaning out the guttering)

There’s no guttering at the rear where the ponding is, only at the front so water isn’t moving towards it

The corner inside the garage below this is very wet, with the timbers looking saturated.

I’m thinking this has occurred through a small piece of upturned felt (I’m assuming) photos uploaded.

Any advice would be amazing.

I have a similar problem at the moment and have had multiple roofers look at the problem. There are a few more complications with mine but one of the main causes is that like yours, there is a flap of felt that isn't properly torched/heated down.
The roofers are coming to fix the problem as soon as there is a dry day ( I live in Scotland! o_O)

It'll be a quick fix. You can even do it yourself if you have a decent butane/propane torch. Although you'd have to be comfortable that you werent going to set the whole lot ablaze. When roofers work with felt they tend to wait around for an hour after they have done the job to make sure that there is no risk of fire.

Hope that is somewhat helpful.

If you are confident that is the only problem then you could dry it off and pour some acropol on the hole and spread it around, if you can find some fibre glass mesh even better.
