Hi All.
I am looking for some advice. I need to fix some cladding up the wall and wrap it over the roof parapet. I really need to secure the cladding to the parapet and it’ll need an air gap that is continuous with the wall. The parapet is marine ply with EPDM and is at an angle of about 30 degrees and around 300mm deep.
I was going to use wooden battens but am open to suggestions. The cladding is Cor-ten. The fixings would be covered by the cladding.
How would you suggest fixing the battens / anything else you suggest to the roof, through the EPDM? How much do I need to worry about water ingress?
Thanks in advance.
