Hello
Started to notice a few of these large flies downstairs and today there are half a dozen all in the downstairs toilet mostly by the waste pipe.
Not seen this before but assume there is something around there causing this..
Ideas how best to deal with this?
Cheers

Hang a sticky fly catcher strip in the room then check all those joints for smells and dampness around the sealing joints.

Just put some of those up.
Can’t smell anything tbh but they are all coming from that area

Had plenty of those when the R A T's had taken the bait and decided to kick the bucket under my floorboards :(

If it is related to rodents, they wont be around for long. A good vacuum cleaner will suck the flies up quite satisfyingly! :)

Ah yes. I wasn’t going to mention the rat, we think was here while we were away. A full, smelly kitchen bin, with a window open resulted in what we think was rat poo next to the bin and nearby.

We have laid some rat poison around the area over the last couple of weeks too.

Close windows and spray some fly killer?

We have thrown the rat poison only a couple days ago

Flies are everywhere at the moment, I came back to a load after being away for a few weeks.

Just spray the whole area with fly spray. Look for tiny leaks with tissue paper - it goes transparentish.
Fly spray behind your car door mirrors this time of year to stop all those spider webs.
