Flux - Do you have to use same brand

New to flux, do you have to use same brand of solder wire with same brand of flux?

For example I’m looking at Fernox lead free 500g solder wire / Powerflow fry - says use with same branded Fernox Fry Powerflow flux.

Why I ask the question, as was thinking of La Co paste instead! (Cheaper and comes with brush)

As above mix and match match
My own preference is laco and lead/tin solder (exept for potable water)
Having said that I long since swapped to press fit only thing I regularly solder is air vent cap ends.
