French doors - changing leading door

Hi everyone,

I just went through the hassle of changing my leading door (my biggest mistake) and spent over 5 hours trying to line up the locks so I can actually lock the door.
In the end I had to leave it with only the top keep aligned with the lock. I tried everything for hours but couldn’t get the locks lined up with both keeps in place.
Can anyone advise what steps I need to follow to be able to get it all sorted. The mullion is covered in marks for all the locks and barrels and still couldn’t do it. I will upload some pictures tomorrow.
Any help appreciated!
 
Update: Managed to realign both doors and I’m now able to lock it. Just need to buy a left centre latch tomorrow and put that on and hopefully tick the job as complete.
Little advice to anyone thinking of changing his leading door… DON’T DO IT YOURSELF.
Worst decision I have ever made and being a maintenance guy I thought it won’t take more than few hours. I can certainly say not worth the hassle and if yours need doing just get a professional to do it.
 
The latch is but the keep is for a right door and can’t use now but its an easy fix with a new left side keep.
Any idea if I could get a new mullion as this one looks a bit battered now and slightly out at the top and the bottom.

Hmmm persimmon house. Decunuink profile so Google search for fabricators in your area who use that profile, where are you based I'll probably know some. Your current doors and windows at a guess we're probably fitted by BPS who are now in admin I believe
 
Yes, BPS fitted them and a bit difficult to get spares. Gleeson actually not Persimmon but poor job with the fitting of the windows and doors. I’ll ring the site to see if they have spares lying around.
I’m in Middlesbrough so if you can help with some names it will make my life easier.
