I ordered a service kit & carb for this FS120 I’ve just purchased.
I found a exploded parts list after ordering the items mentioned & it shows 3 different carbs.

Looking at my carb there is a stamp on the body H & L but no drilling.

The carb has now arrived & it has 3 screws which have those tamper proof covers fitted.

H L & one the controls the tick over / pushes the arm that moves when you operate throttle.

So is this carb incorrect or is it ok to fit.

I guess the new carb has been fitted by now....maybe the one you took off is a pattern part? Who knows.
Anyway, the tamper proof covers prevent over adjustment of the screws but unfortunately if the screws ever have to come fully out they are often sacrificed!

Haven’t had chance to fit them yet. I understand why they have limiter caps on & can see how to get them off but this post was to see if it was just wrong or can I fit it & have more control as it has the 3 adjustments screws.

The replacement carburettor may give you finer adjustment - if it is needed - but more and more carbs these days are becoming tamperproof which is an anti pollution measure. These items may prove more difficult to clean.
I hope the new carb performs well!
John :)
