Full size Upright Freezer Plum Question

My kitchen has a built in freezer and soon to be fridge which I am installing currently

Its a Zanussi and has a slider on the door front. When I push the door onto the front of the freezer it touches the clip at the bottom but at the top it is about 5mm out.

I can push the door into the freezer and it will hit it but I am wondering a) whether it should totally be the same as the bottom one OR b) are these things built not at 90 degrees?

It might be that the base it not level so I can adjust this when I get it out but was wondering wether they are not entirely squad to prevent them falling over?

If you are talking about new appliances in new cupboards then everything needs to be square before fitting the appliance. If not when the hinges & such start to wear you will have awful problems with the doors not closing. My integrated fridge & freezer have sliders top & bottom, but not seen many others. They should never fall over, that would be a needless worry & the door seals should keep the door closed as long as everything is set up properly.

Yeah I think I need to get it out get the base level which must be slightly out somehow. I do have a spare shelf which I can put in the bottom and level out that way.

A quick supplementary question on this one.

I have placed the rubber strip down the side as per the instructions but it says that there needs to be a gap of 42mm (cant remember the exact) from the edge of the cabinet to the actual unit itself.

My issue is that, yes i can install it that way but when i put the plastic cover part that covers the metal clip at the bottom, it protrudes a mm from the front of the cabinet. The question here is, once the plastic cover is on, should that be flush with the cabinet (minus the door) or slightly protruding.
