Getting 2 X MS Office Cheap

Hi,
I have one son about to start University and another son about to start college.
Have bought them both PCs but need to get MS Office installed on both.
What's the cheapest way of doing this?
I remember years back there was such a thing as student licenses.
Not sure if there's deals for getting two.
Any recommendations please?

Use OpenOffice instead

Contact the university's IT department.
Most universities use office 365 and the students log in using a user name and password.
The students are supposed to use MS for email on the supplied email as that is how the uni will contact them and the uni systems will be set up to work as a package. The whole system is integrated

It certainly used to be that you got a student discount once you had your academic email.
