Good varnish exterior hardwood? (Near the sea)

Hi all, as the title asks, I’m looking for a good varnish for exterior hardwood, the property is located on the Norfolk coastline and is in need of some epic sanding, possibly using oxalic acid in places. It’s going to be a 3 to 4 coat job. to get it back to a reasonable coat again.

I’m going into this a bit blind, I’ve seen images of the woods condition which is almost bare sills etc.

A few prerequisites are to have a clear varnish not tinted if possible and satin or matt preferable.

I’ve recently used ronseals yacht varnish which has quite an orange cast to it so that’s out. I’ve seen sadolins clear coat and I’ve been impressed with sadolins superdeck range so I’m half way to using that.

I’m open to suggestions.

Can I suggest a trip to your nearest Ships Chandlers as you are close to the sea, Sailing types have been struggling for years and will more than probably have good answers, using brands that [shall I call it] not in general use outside of the Sailing community??

Having never worked near the coast I cannot recommend anything but I have one customer with mahogany windows that are finished in non-tinted Sadolins oil. The lack of pigment causes the sun to bleach the wood which means that every 5 or so years, I have to sand away the finish and sand the timber until the natural colour is restored.
