I am having trouble with this, G-Maps will not work on G-Chrome, but G-Maps are fine on IE8. On Chrome, the mapping sort of loads, then starts sliding south rapidly! - and Streetview will not load. Any advice please much appreciated! - I cannot be the only one with this trouble - although a forunm search revealed nothing. Thank you.

I'm using Chrome and G-maps work fine here
This might simply be that you need to update. First try clearing your cache and then check for updates in your extensions. If it works in one browser and not in the other, then obviously, its your browser. You may even be best checking to see if you can download the latest version of Chrome, "Googles information spying tool".
