Got a Mac? Get anti-virus protection!

The reason I went into Windows is because we have a mix of platforms inc Linux working here and as often happens one of the MS boxes 'crashed' and the always reliable Mac available that has Windows crap on it had to be used.

So basically you're admitting you can't get along without Windows. Fair enough.

The macs are just there for troubleshooting if theres problems. Like not updating your security?

I'd advise getting a decent IT guy in who can look after the systems for you, that way you don't need to buy a mac for troubleshooting. Alternatively get a LiveCD of linux, much cheaper and easier!

Already using Linux for other purposes

Hopefully the purpose is replacing OSX on your over-priced under-powered hardware to make it run quicker and as a consequence truly secure (unlike your pretend secure OSX), seeing as Linux really doesn't need antivirus software.

Quote from the article linked by powerflop..
"Late last year Apple started working with Unisys to help it sell Apple products to corporations and government agencies, all of which are concerned about the security implications of iPhones and iPads running on their networks.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

That's why Macs and all things Apple are so secure monkey; they only use
people who get results. He refused a job at microshaft as he said it was too late to rescue them.

I haven't read your link. It doesn't exist.

Fact: You use windows daily.
Fact: You can't not use windows.
Fact: Macs just don't cut it in you world you need windows.

The above has been proven by your posts in this thread. Stop moaning about your main desktop OS!

Sorry Girls. Away in the US of A for a month from tomorrow so wont have time to wind you up. That followed by a project on Cornwall.

Hurray :P :P :P :P A whole month without the usual diatribe of Mac, Mac ,Mac, not suffering from malware and viruses. When in the real world Apple openly acknowledge that their products do suffer.

PS, nowhere in the article you linked to does it state that the person turned down a position with Microsoft.
Probably because he failed the interview.

Sorry Girls. Away in the US of A for a month from tomorrow so wont have time to spam these forums posting lies whilst simultaneousness making myself look more retarded. That followed by a project on Cornwall.

I've edited your post for accuracy after taking into account reality.

No need to apologise little fella. I'm sure you'll be back in a month spamming this forum and telling more lies. You can't help it, its rather pathetic really.
