Hi there.

I have vauxhall Corsa 1 l petrol and measured both wires on Egr selonoid, plugged and unplugged.
Plugged/ unplugged
Feed wire 12V/12V
Signal wire 12V/3.65V

My question is, why do I have voltage in my feed wire? I thought bias voltage was only read on O2 sensor or a knock sensor.
Unfortunately, I don't have the wiring diagrams to take a read at the ECU.

Any thoughts highly appreciated

I think your 12volt readings are wrong, if you can measure 3.65 v accurately.

Do you have a specific problem or are just testing voltages for interest?

I have measured them about 300 times. But If you want I can take these readings again and take pictures of them.
Yes sorry I didn't mention that the car is not running that's what I am trying to figure out.
Car starts then immediately dies.

Does it start every time, or what ?

Any symptoms before this issue ?

Why going to the egr ? Sounds more like a fuel issue from the limited info so far

for voltage, you mention 3.65 and 12v, not 12.4 12.6 12.8 etc

you say you only have two wires ? usually they have 4 + 1 wire 12v 2nd wire 5 v then a ground
What year is the car ?
