H Block radiator valve + sludge

Hi everyone,

Hope you can help. I have some sludge in a radiator that needs flushed, so I'm trying to remove the radiator. We just moved into the house, and I'm not familiar with this type of valve (H Block I think?)

Basically, I'm not sure whether there is a lockshield valve, which I'm supposed to close before starting. I'm coming from a more traditional setup so I'm a bit lost

Can anyone help? How should I proceed to turn off & remove it without making a huge mess?

That white cover should pop off giving access to the valves underneath.
