Hanging projector screen on plasterboard - ok?

Hi,

We’re looking to install a motorized projector screen on this faux chimney breast.

It will be the full span across, has two mounting points, and is about 12.5kg or so.

As it’s not a wooden stud frame I’m limited to only going into the plasterboard with fixings.

Does this sound ok? Or should we rethink?

I would get some self-drilling screws, and get the screen attached to the metal stud framing.
If the attachment spacing doesn't match well, mount a batten to the framing first.
