Hanging two gates.

Gonna add some iron mongery. The big gate sticks out at the bottom so I guess another sliding bolt. Perhaps fit a latch as well? (Attached photo of example.)

I will use hook and band hinges in future but need to bolt a three inch post to the wall to accommodate it. My two inch one is two small. Have attached a photo of a neighbour's three inch post

You say that but I don't see a drip of it on the ground or on the wall, so something is going right.

Not nit picking, but I would have liked to see those nail holes filled and sanded smooth before painting.

Carry on with the good work, you learn from mistakes, and experience. I note the customer has an S Class Merc, tell us when he's paid you.

The gate wasn't lining up at the bottom so I put another sliding bolt in there to pull it in. Filled holes with squeeze filler( I know they're not the best)

Possibly should have put another drop bolt on other gate.

In future I will use a three inch post not two inch one so I can use hook and band hinges

Dare I say it, you've posted pictures of a finished project with no glaring errors. If there's hope for Keitai, there's hope for all of us!
