Hayter 48 Jubilee Tank Split

Please see pictures of tank split. added pictures for identification

Is there away to repair ? if not would have search new replacement cost or second hand route

As I have so much into this mower I would like to keep it

It looks like a typical Briggs tank:
I'd certainly go down the replacement route if possible.....repair kits are available (some don't suit fuel though) but the longevity isn't guaranteed.
I'd certainly expect to find something on ebay, or maybe down at the local recycling centre!

Seen some on the bay s/h to far away for me to collect so would have to be posted,

Would a Harrier 41 tank fit mine ?
 
If I recall, the Hayter 41 is actually Honda powered.......although I may well be wrong!
GHS usually have good stock replacement, as do L&S Engineers - but naturally you'll pay a lot of cash for a brand new genuine tank.
I'd go the Ebay route - you'll get a good item for £20 or less.
