Heating coming on when hot tap been run

Good evening all,

I’m after some advice, my biasi riva compact he mk2 m96a 24sm/c.
Has a issue with the heating coming on when any hot tap is been Run in the house. I have done some homework and came to the conclusion it’s the divertor valve.

I brought a divertor valve cartridge and fitted it myself however I still have the same problem after fill the system back up and sorting all the Rads and so on it’s back to how it was.


Any ideas at all? Could it be the divertor valve motor? Needs to be changed?

if your divertor valve cartridge was leaking it will have damaged the actuator motor, you can usually tell just by looking at it, remove the actuator motor and if you can see water stains it will be shot

I was kind of hoping it would be that as it’s a easy fix. It did have water coming out of it a while back. I dried it all off and put it back on. Cost wise it’s not going to break the bank to.
