I am fitting a new Dudley Acclaim cistern (LL 6/7/9L HP/LP B/V part no. PACWHS 315196) to an old pan and need the 9L flush. The syphon does not correspond exactly to either of those in the instructions.

I presume it must be the set up according to the syphon on the left, but the green insert has one hole as opposed to two on the drawing. On the right of the syphon is a white plug pushed into a flange, which I presume is the plug to use and that it is just there for storage.
Now I am guessing that, as it is preset to 6L, the hole is for the upper plug and that I need to pop the white plug into that. Correct? Strange that the instructions make no mention of this.
