HELP LEAKING BOILER URGENT!

My valiant ecoplus 824 is leaking badly and now dripping thru into kitchen ceiling. I had a plumber out yesterday who said I needed a diverter valve and turned the water off but today I came in had a look and it’s badly dripping still. It’s everywhere How can I turn water off to this boiler so I can get a plumber tomorrow???

Take it you're not living there so you can't just put a bucket under it? Has that plumber turned off the stoptap at the main or just closed the tap(s) on the filling loop (filling loops have been known to not close properly). Have you run cold tap downstairs to drain the pipework? Next step is drain the heating system (to below the level of the boiler anyway)
