Hello
I was wondering if someone could please help me out with installing the new Hive receiver/thermostat. I thought it would be a simple swap but I'm a little bit stuck with the wiring of my current receiver. I have a Valiant Ecotec Plus 831 boiler with 230V supply. It's receiver - the Salus RT500RF is wired as follows:

I want to swap it to the hive single receiver.

Can someone please confirm if I'm meant to do the following:

I transfer the two neutrals to the N position on Hive.
I transfer the two browns and the black to the L position on Hive.
I transfer the Common to number 1 on the Hive
I transfer the ON to position 3 on the Hive

If I'm wrong then can someone please advise and help me on what I should do.

Thank you in advance for any help and advise.

Yes, that's correct.
Plus the two earths in earth.

For accuracy, it doesn't say ON, it says NO which means Normally Open. I.e. not connected until switched on.
Same difference but just so's you know.

Thanks for the reply and information. I wasn't 100% sure as the black wire is from COM to L on my current set up.

Is that all that I need to do and then my Hive will start working?
