Hi All
Ok, fitting our kitchen and building in a custom cooker hood. Our range cooker is 110cm wide so the gap between the wall cupboards for a hood is, obviously, 110cm too.
Clearly, we cannot fit a 110cm wide extractor unit as there would be no ‘meat’ either side to frame the unit. So, we need a smaller width extractor unit to fit within our custom 110cm wide housing.
So, on a 110cm range, would a 90cm wide extractor unit be too small? The 90cm one I’m looking at has an extraction rate 14times the volume of the kitchen which I believe is fine but I’m wondering if that means it will also suck up the steam etc from pots/pans on the very edges of the hob?
I could maybe go wider to a 100cm unit but a) I can’t find one and b) it is limiting the options we have for design as there’s so little space to work with either side (just 50mm)
Thanks for any help.
Mark
