We laid the Secrete latex self levelling compound from Wickes in an understairs cupboard onto a concrete floor which had some damp seal white paint underneath.
The self levelling compound smell is so strong it is making my eyes burn it has been over a week and it absolutely stinks of Ammonia. I can’t stand the smell and I can smell it right the way over the other side of the lounge diner and the cupboard is up the other end.
Please tell me will this smell ever go away its really making me feel fed up. I have tried air fresheners and the smell of the Ammonia is so over powering its making my eyes burn even after a week. It has all set fine no cracks or anything it looks good but I am worried i’m going to have to break it all off and use something else?
