So what started as a small job resealing the bath, I noticed some of the tiles above the bath was loose. I have removed all the loose tiles and the wall was slightly damp and the plaster probably around 20-30year old is just falling away and brittle. Can I just dry out the wall fill and replace the tiles? If so can you recommend the best product for filling the damaged area/plaster.
It is a solid wall, might not be plaster I am not sure it could be mortar or concrete, I'm a complete beginner but wanting to learn and complete myself.
The rest of the tiles are true to the wall and also completely sealed well with no signs of water ingress.
The damp has been created from damaged seal around the bath and leaking to the wall and under bath.
Area is tiled to the bath.
