Hive 2 installation decommision old thermostat

Hi

Any suggestions how to rewire this backplate to remove the old wired thermostat please? Im replacing it with the Hive 2, but with the old thermostat wired into what appears to be on the heating on and hotwater on (is that normal??) positions (3 and 4) it cant obviously turn the heating and hotwater on!

Just wire your twin channel hive 2 receiver where your clock is ch on & hw on. Link your old thermostat out so common and satisfied are together and terminate neutral and earth safely then cover the hole with the hive 2 thermostat
