Hive Heating Receiver install

Hi,

I'm replacing a Honeywell wireless receiver with a Hive heating one (combi boiler)

I would appreciate someone having a look at the attached pics to check my proposed wiring of the new Hive receiver.

The first pic is how the old receiver was wired and the second is how I'm proposing to wire the Hive.

My main concern being the earth wire which I'm not sure was being used as earth as you can see.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Yes, that is correct and you are right about 'the earth wire' - although now it isn't 'an earth wire'.

Put a brown sleeve or some other identifier on it.
