Hi,
Iam new and this is my first question. So please excuse me if i break any forum rules.
I bought hive hot water and heat reciever, ie dual channel. And i figured it out how to connect to my horstmann programmer.
However i have realiszed i have two zones ,upstairs and down stairs and two wired thermo stats. But not sure which zone valve corresponds to which.
So i think i will also need another multizone receiver to connect upstairs.
So should i connect dual channel directly to programmer and short the wire between heat call and live in down stairs thermostat? But if i do so boiler will only come on if hive thermostat calls it and downstaira zone valve doesnt come into effect as it is always connected in wired thermostat?
And if the connect another receiver at upstairs zone valve, how can i work it out between downstairs call or upstairs call.
Sorry its confusing. Or should i have connect two receivers at the hot water tank zone valves . Any help would appreciated thanks
