Just got our renewal.

That's a heck of an increase. Anyone else had a house insurance renewal recently?

Done mine end of December. Car insurance had gone up about 50%, building and contents remained almost the same as last year, a quid or two in it.

I abandoned admiral after 5 years that they were the cheapest.
This time they doubled the price: 2 cars and the house £2000, no thanks.
I now have 3 separate insurance policies and paying £900 approx all in.

December, it was up around 15%.

Renewed elsewhere for £291 with better cover

Ours went up from £219 to £247 but that was in April last year.

Mine went from around 84 to 108. A zero crime area.
